    • S.M.A.R.T. is now supported on Windows 2000/XP with NDAS hardware version 1.1 or later.
    • Some terms are changed:
      • Connected -> Online
      • Disconnected -> Offline
      • Unmount -> Dismount
      • Unregister -> Deregister
    • Auto Play configuration is added in the options dialog.
    • Dismount is now processed synchronously. No system dialogs or notification will be shown after the dismounting.
    • "Dismount All" dialog shows the status of each logical unit.
    • A retry-cancel dialog box appears when dismounting failed.
  • Fix
    • Connection to the NDAS device will not be closed when you have 2 or more NICs on PC and one of them disconnected.
    • The file system status will be refreshed when your PC mounts a NDAS device as read-only and other PC mounts it read-write.
    • NDAS service does not hang any more while importing the legacy registry keys in case of read failure.
    • Better chance of dismounting success.
    • The NDAS software detects power-cycling of a NDAS device. when Disk power recycle detection on NDAS hardware version 1.1 or later.
  • RAID
    • RAID1
      • Degraded mode mount is supported, i.e you can mount RAID1 even if one of the member drive is unavailable.
      • To achieve faster recovery, only the out-of-sync parts will be recovered.
      • You must migrate the RAID1 by the old version of NDAS software.
      • Now supports a very large RAID set (i.e. more than 2TB) in the GPT-capable platforms. The following platforms can handle GPT partitions.

        • Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1
        • Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition
        • Windows Vista
        • Windows Vista x64 Edition
      • Marks a member drive as defective when the drive has bad sector(s).
      • A replaced member drive by the spare drive will not be back to a member drive automatically. You must reconfigure RAID to do that.
      • Detects the member drive which is replaced online. But hot-swapping is not supported yet. You must use NDAS bind management tool to use the replaced drive.
  • Changes in the NDAS bind tool
    • Shows more information about current RAID status.
    • Faster refreshing status speed.
